Position Overview

ACI Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive TPA Insurance Coordinator to manage Third-Party Administrator (TPA) insurance processes and facilitate seamless interactions between patients, insurers, and the hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance protocols, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to support our world-class healthcare services.


Responsibilities

Insurance Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the hospital, patients, and TPA/insurance companies.
  • Manage pre-authorizations, claim submissions, and approvals for cashless treatments.
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage, terms, and conditions.

Documentation and Claims Processing:

  • Verify patient insurance documents and eligibility for TPA services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance providers.
  • Follow up on claim approvals, rejections, and reimbursements to avoid delays.

Compliance and Record Management:

  • Maintain detailed records of insurance claims, approvals, and settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, TPA agreements, and insurance guidelines.
  • Regularly audit and reconcile claim records to ensure accuracy.

Customer Support:

  • Provide guidance and support to patients regarding TPA and insurance-related queries.
  • Resolve patient concerns related to insurance claims promptly and professionally.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with hospital departments, including billing and finance, to streamline the insurance process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with TPA and insurance company representatives.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in TPA insurance coordination or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of TPA policies, claim processes, and insurance regulations.
  • Proficient in using hospital management systems and TPA software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
