**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear imaging procedures.
- Operate specialized imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners.
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceutical usage and imaging procedures.
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and hospital regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Educate patients on procedures and address any concerns regarding radiation exposure.
Qualifications:
- **Educational Requirements:**
- Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- **Technical Skills:**
