Position Overview
ACI Super Speciality Hospital is seeking an experienced and innovative IT Manager to oversee and drive the hospital's information technology systems. Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and manage the hospital's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Ensure the seamless functioning of medical software systems, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Regularly update and maintain hardware and software systems to support operational efficiency.
Data Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive patient and hospital data.
- Ensure compliance with IT-related healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and GDPR standards.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate risks.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the IT team, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s strategic goals.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex IT issues for staff across all departments.
Vendor and Budget Management:
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Monitor and optimize the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
Innovation and Development:
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance healthcare delivery.
- Oversee the implementation of new IT projects, ensuring timely execution and integration.
Support and Maintenance:
- Provide reliable IT support for medical equipment, administrative systems, and patient services.
- Establish protocols for disaster recovery and business continuity.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- MCA/B.Tech in Computer science/Equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 0-5 years of IT management experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in IT infrastructure, network administration, and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and compliance requirements in the healthcare sector.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems such as EHR/EMR platforms and telemedicine technologies.
