Job Opportunity: Fire Safety Technician – ACI Super Speciality Hospital
Location: ACI Super Speciality Hospital, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar
Position Overview:
ACI Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Safety Technician to ensure the safety of hospital staff, patients, and visitors by maintaining and implementing fire safety systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing fire prevention equipment while ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair fire safety equipment, including fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and suppression systems.
- Conduct routine fire safety drills and training for hospital staff.
- Ensure hospital compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate fire hazards within the hospital premises.
- Assist in the development and implementation of fire emergency response plans.
- Respond quickly to fire emergencies and coordinate with emergency response teams.
- Keep accurate records of fire safety inspections, maintenance, and training sessions.
- Work closely with hospital facility management to enhance overall fire safety measures.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Fire & Safety or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience in fire safety, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of fire prevention systems, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations.
- Experience with fire suppression systems, smoke detectors, and fire alarm systems.
- Ability to conduct fire safety audits and risk assessments.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Good communication skills for conducting fire safety training sessions.
