Job Opportunity: Electrician – ACI Super Speciality Hospital
Location: ACI Super Speciality Hospital, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar
Position Overview:
ACI Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to maintain and repair the hospital’s electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of all electrical components, troubleshooting electrical faults, and assisting in the installation of new electrical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within the hospital.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical wiring, fixtures, and hospital-grade power systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
- Assist in the installation of backup generators, UPS systems, and other emergency power supplies.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with facility management and the electrical engineering team to enhance energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair work.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with hospital power systems, including backup generators and UPS systems.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance regulations.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
