Position Overview:
ACI Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to oversee the hospital's electrical systems, maintenance, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all electrical installations and equipment within the hospital premises.
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure the hospital’s electrical infrastructure complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Monitor power distribution, backup generators, and UPS systems for uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate with facility management teams to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Supervise electrical contractors and ensure quality control in electrical installations.
- Document maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and ensure quick resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and infrastructure management, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical circuit design, load calculations, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hospital-grade power systems, including backup generators and UPS systems.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
