Position Overview:
ACI Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiographer to join our advanced diagnostic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate medical diagnoses and treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and maintaining proper positioning.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and deliver accurate results.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of radiology supplies and coordinate procurement as needed.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospital or diagnostic center is preferred, but fresh graduates with the right qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment (e.g., CT, MRI, X-ray).
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and team members.
