Position Overview

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations:
- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions provided by doctors.
- Ensure the proper storage and handling of medicines to maintain their effectiveness.
- Manage stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and place orders to avoid shortages.
Customer Support:
- Guide patients on the correct usage and dosage of prescribed medicines.
- Provide information on potential side effects and interactions of medications.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies related to pharmacy operations.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medicines, inventory, and purchases.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the correct medications.
- Address any medication-related issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of medicines, prescriptions, and healthcare regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
